How Does Daxxify Work?

Daxxify is a neurotoxin similar to BOTOX that is used to temporarily relax the muscles that cause wrinkles in the face, reducing their appearance. Unlike other muscle relaxers, Daxxify is formulated to be a long-lasting frown line treatment, lasting on average six months and up to nine months in some cases. What Makes Daxxify Unique?

Daxxify is a much more advanced formulation than the muscle relaxers that come before it. Like BOTOX and other neuromodulators, Daxxify’s main active ingredient is botulinum toxin A. This ingredient requires the use of a stabilizing ingredient, and until Daxxify’s introduction, human serum albumin (HSA) was that stabilizer. Dysport has a similar composition but also uses a cow’s milk protein as well. Daxxify, however, uses a novel peptide as a stabilizer, meaning that it does not contain any animal or human byproducts.
