Have you seen the television show Cribs on MTV? How about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Gossip Girl, or Million Dollar Listing?
Each of these television programs, and many more, brings us into the world of the rich and famous. We see how they live, how they travel, what preoccupies them, and the surrounds in which they keep themselves. It’s a fantasy that allows us to dream about experiencing similar luxury. Similarly, the Robb Report, Architectural Digest, and Town and Country magazines let us peer into the ultraluxe lifestyle.
The innovator of this style of television program was Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous hosted by Robin Leach aired between 1984 and 1995 and gave us tours into the previously unseen world of celebrity homes. Viewers felt like exclusive guests with unlimited access to roam around the estates of people like Michael Jackson, Linda Carter, Morgan Fairchild, and even Donald Trump. At the end of each episode Robin Leach expressed his desire that each viewer achieve their “champagne wishes and caviar dreams”.
Can you see where this is going? TSC is a place for people to purse those dreams. Everybody who comes into our office should feel like they have rare access to an exclusive club where celebrities and billionaires congregate. When we speak about topping the Chanel experience, this is what we mean.
