There are a significant amount of individuals from the baby boomer generation entering into the retirement zone and early predictions state that they could single-handedly invest billions collectively into the plastic surgery industry over the new few years. Right now early estimates bring the current dollar amount of about $80 billion to just under $120 billion by the year 2015. Quite impressive?
“It adds up to potential bonanza. The market research firm Global Industry Analysts projects that a boomer-fueled consumer base, “seeking to keep the dreaded signs of aging at bay,” will push the U.S. market for anti-aging products from about $80 billion now to more than $114 billion by 2015.”

Plastic surgery as a whole is something that has become very acceptable and older generations are really starting to accept the fact they can reverse their aging so to speak and feel young and youthful again with just a few simple surgery procedures. People are realizing that it is no longer a taboo to acquire plastic surgery to look and feel better, we can thank mainstream media for that.
